Check in is 3 pm and check out is 11 am. If nobody is arriving on the day you are checking out, you may request a late check out. If you need to store your bags upon an early arrival or departure, the front desk will be happy to watch them for you. Upon departure, we ask that you leave the kitchen area, in particular, as clean as possible, since that is the one area that is the responsibility of guests.
Our housekeeping staff has been with us for many years and is wonderful. They make the beds and clean all areas of the unit with the exception of the kitchen, which is the responsibility of the guest. She works every day with the exception of Sunday. We ask that if you are pleased with service you tip her at the end of your stay (Please use your own judgment to determine the tip; when asked we generally advise $1-2 US per person per day.)
Yes. We offer a safe to store passports etc. and provide information regarding the location and combination prior to your arrival. The fifth floor condo also provides a couple of cabinets that can be locked for larger items.
No! In fact, we highly recommend that you do not rent a car for your visit. Puerto Vallarta is best experienced on foot, on buses and by taxi.
Most merchants accept US dollars, however we recommend you use pesos or a credit card in order to get the best value for your money. You can use Debit cards at bank ATMs . The closest one is Intercam, which is just across the street at the end of the block. You can also be confident using credit cards at restaurants and with vendors that seem reputable. While there have been reports of credit card ID theft, we have not experienced it, nor do we know anyone who has. We recommend that you use your best judgment – if you the vendor or individual who will be running your credit card doesn’t feel safe, be prepared to use cash.
We have a purified water system in our building and throughout Puerto Vallarta, so you can feel perfectly comfortable drinking the water. The Oceanfront Penthouse has a purified water tap at the kitchen sink. In the other condos have large bottled water dispensers. If it is empty, you can order a free refill that will be delivered to the condo, but don't forget to tip the Moso.
Of course! Visit the "Plan Your Stay" tab for the most current recommendations on areas to explore, tours and restaurants.
Vista del Sol has washers and dryers in the basement. They cost about $3 US/hr and you must provide your own soap. You can purchase soap at the nearby OXXO, but we recommend bringing your own soap pods from home. It’s easier and less expensive.
We do! The condos are very well appointed with most anything you may need, including beach towels, kitchen linens, and rain umbrellas.
